For Professionals 

We work in the community with a number of organisations to ensure that we adopt a multi-agency approach when supporting women who are at risk of violence and abuse.

Making Referrals

We receive many enquiries from external agencies and charities who would like to refer women to our services. If you are working with a service user who you believe could benefit from our services, please complete our Professional Referral Form. 

Completing this referral form with the consent of your service user ensures we have the most accurate and up-to-date information possible and can act quickly and appropriately to their needs.

We are not an emergency accommodation provider and do not have refuge services. We do not offer our own in-house counseling service. We can signpost and make referrals to organisations that provide these services. However, HWC is not responsible for the eligibility requirements or possible waiting list times that these may have.

Our hours of operation are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. 

Partnerships

We have built strong partnerships with the local authority, charities, health and education providers and women’s sector organisations. We are always open to working with other organisations to provide the best support possible for women in the community.
